Bindaree, located along the floodplains of the Fitzroy river in Garnant, is the home of certified organic beef in the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast region with brahford-droughtmaster females and santa-angus sires where they graze 1,400ha of clean pristine pasture. CQ Organics are a family-based operation with Mick and Noela Alexander running the enterprise and teenage sons Mathew and Lachlan supporting in their spare time. Bindaree is not just cows silently grazing on healthy pasture but a place where carbon is sequestered, animals nurtured and nourished and where the health of the land, animals and people come first.
